The Toson mine has been operating since 1996 and located in Buregkhangai soum of Bulgan province and Bayangol and Toson embankments are located Zaamar soum, Tuv province where there are abundant of deposits of channel alluvial being exploited along with special license.

The geological sector is one of integrated parts of conservation of nature and Monpolymet Group employs professional engineers, technical experts to conduct their mining operations, explorations, mining operations as well as environmental rehabilitation at the same time in parallel.

The rehabilitation process after mining and processing activities has been carried out at high quality as our main purpose is to set an exemplary operation in mining industry together with nature rehabilitation. The utmost importance of executing this work is required expertise skills and experiences.

Purpose:

Our mission is to upsurge our contributions to mineral resource field of Mongolia, to carry out all stages of mining activities, from geological research to the production of value added products with professional level. The department is in charge of:

• Conducting necessary research and collecting information for the company’s development strategy,
• Managing projects related to mining and product operations,
• Introducing new techniques, technologies, and innovations for rehabilitation work.

Currently, we are engaged in various projects, such as:

• “Toson” mine plant
• “Moncement” cement plant
• “Senjit Khudag” limestone, fluoride deposits
• “Urd Taragt” gypsum mine
• UB grinding station in Ulaanbaatar city
• Collaboration work of technical and biological rehabilitations for these mentioned mining deposits and plants.
